The Regional Operations Manager plays a vital role by ensuring regional operational compliance, spearheading charter renewal efforts, designing and executing professional development for site-based operations teammates, and building a community of practice among Business Managers. This role prepares and empowers scholars for success in college, career, and life while upholding the organization’s core values of Bienestar (Well-Being), Culture of Belonging, Community Partnership, Agency & Self-Determination, and Joy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage year-round student recruitment and enrollment, including reporting, data analysis, and partnership with marketing and community outreach teams.
  • Support and coach Business Managers through selection, operational systems review, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, authorizer, and Aspire standards by managing SARC, SSC, ELAC requirements, and local grant funding opportunities.
  • Lead COVID prevention policy assessments, advise on mitigation strategies, and provide direct consultation to site leaders.
  • Guarantee compliance with Independent Studies requirements for hours, attendance, and contracts.
  • Manage facilities concerns as the liaison between school site leaders and landlords, including emergency facility matters.
  • Embody and support Aspire Public Schools’ mission, vision, and values, including antiracism and ethical behavior.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record in dismantling racism and other forms of oppression with strong organizational, planning, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple projects, work autonomously in ambiguous environments, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience in education or nonprofit sectors with a strong commitment to social justice and Aspire’s core values.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% regionally and occasionally for conferences or professional development.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in management and operations.
  • Minimum 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in operations, education, nonprofit organizations, business, or project management.

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive base salary benchmarked against local districts and charter schools.
  • Exceptional benefits including paid time off and 100% core health benefits coverage on select plans.
