Job Description

Position Overview

The Digital Data Analyst will be responsible for analytics that support marketing, website performance, digital guest experiences (including AI agents), testing, optimization efforts, and the development of cutting edge visualizations. The role involves teaming with both marketing and commercial operations to analyze data, generate actionable insights, and drive growth throughout the business funnel via both ad hoc analysis and sustained insight production.

Location: Chicago, IL or Madison, WI

Schedule: Hybrid-remote (M/F remote; T/W/TH in office)

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors in project definition, design, and planning.
  • Develop hypotheses, gather data, brainstorm strategic options, and create recommendations for strategic initiatives.
  • Own and rationalize marketing and web data across the organization.
  • Operate as a visualization lead and subject matter expert.
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize data from disparate sources into clear and compelling visualizations.
  • Build key success metrics to evaluate the impact of projects, improvements, and services.
  • Develop tactical, actionable analysis of online business operations to influence strategic planning.
  • Utilize business analysis skills to assess actual business impact and collaborate with engineers and data scientists.
  • Support additional projects as dictated by business priorities and leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree; a concentration in a quantitative field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research) is preferred.
  • Experience Required: 2+ years in digital, operational, or business analytics.
  • Experience with advanced analytics and statistical techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL with a preference for Snowflake.
  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing.
  • Proficiency in Tableau data visualization and programming.
  • Familiarity with Google platform tools including GCP, GTM, BigQuery, and Google Analytics.
  • Willingness to work from Great Wolf’s Corporate Office under a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

  • Master's Degree.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across all business levels.
  • Creative, intellectually curious, and passionate about learning.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and high energy in fast-moving environments.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, R, and Python.
  • Understanding of machine learning technologies.
  • Strong technical understanding of emerging internet technologies (including GenAI) and commercial website operations.
  • Ability to lead effectively in a matrix environment and work with various business partners.
  • Experience in modeling data to support digital personalization and collaboration with product management, development, marketing, and data science teams.
  • Skill in communicating insights to key internal stakeholders and executive leadership.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 annual base salary
  • Compensation: Determined based on education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and additional factors.
