Job Description

Position Overview

Jump-start a career in foreign affairs, international relations and global business! Internships at the World Trade Center Institute (WTCI) offer unique hands-on experience and unparalleled networking opportunities. As an intern, you will gain insight into non-profit and international business operations, undertake real-life tasks, and receive a professional title for the semester.

Internship Details: Minimum 15 hours per week, availability during standard business hours, and at least one day at the WTCI office. Interns will design an end-of-semester presentation and participate in all WTCI events.

Internship Dates: Fall: August 25, 2025 – December 12, 2025; Spring: January 26, 2026 – June 5, 2026; Summer: June 22, 2026 – August 28, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and design of marketing materials and advertising
  • Research companies and countries to develop effective marketing language
  • Utilize Google Analytics to boost web traffic
  • Update WTCI’s Social Media and strategize best practices
  • Participate in event preparation, management, and logistics
  • Perform website updates
  • Attend all WTCI networking events

Required Qualifications

  • Professional communication and a positive attitude
  • Comfortable working in a small office environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Creativity and flexibility
  • Ability to complete assignments within deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with strong project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to write Press Releases
  • Knowledge of Adobe programs and advertising classes
  • Knowledge of HTML and/or WordPress
