Technical Services Specialist - USA

Position Overview

Mine Vision Systems is a mining technology company building the decision-making platform for underground mining. Our innovative digital infrastructure integrates high-fidelity data to map, monitor, and manage the underground environment—empowering mining teams to move from assumptions to evidence-based decisions. With FaceCapture, our flagship product launched in late 2023, we deliver millions of dollars in annual value by minimizing overbreak, improving ore calls, and enhancing resource models.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in a safe and professional manner, both underground and at remote locations
• Ensure MSHA certification is maintained
• Provide training, technical support, and consulting services to customers from diverse technical and mining backgrounds
• Document and resolve issues promptly while gathering customer feedback at mine sites and remotely
• Support sales and commercial teams by creating compelling cases for new customer adoption and usage expansion of MVS technologies
• Test new product versions and contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials
• Foster cross-departmental collaboration and respond to unexpected requests with courtesy
• Travel up to 50% both domestically and internationally

Required Qualifications

• Prior underground experience in Technical Services (e.g., Geology, Geotech, Engineering) is strongly preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Geology or Engineering is strongly preferred
• Confident, positive customer service approach with excellent communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to learn new concepts quickly and work effectively within a team
• Understanding of underground face mapping concepts and experience with relevant mapping, modeling, and engineering software
• Ability to manage multiple, competing demands and deliver effective presentations
• Excellent written, verbal, and reading comprehension skills in English
• Preference for secondary language skills: ideally Spanish, French, or Portuguese (Brazilian)
