Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and sub-contractors to ensure quality work aligned with the project schedule.
  • Manage the project budget for general conditions and site services.
  • Develop, document, and communicate work plans regarding field changes.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents to proactively anticipate issues.
  • Verify that all necessary construction permits are obtained by subcontractors.
  • Act as the primary safety representative on site and enforce safety compliance, developing strategies to drive a safety-first culture.
  • Oversee planning for workarounds, shutdowns, and tie-ins while establishing credibility with project partners.
  • Lead contractor meetings, maintain daily reports, and manage the project schedule including contingency planning.
  • Coordinate jobsite logistics and develop the Quality in Construction (QIC) plan with the Operations Excellence team.
  • Train Field Engineers and Superintendents, assist with preconstruction tasks, and manage Time & Materials (T&M) tracking.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive work environment and mentor direct reports in project and team management.
  • Collaborate with business development and participate in community engagement to strengthen industry relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 10–15 years of experience on $30M–$100M+ commercial/industrial construction projects or multiple projects in a lead superintendent role.
  • **Hyperscale Data Center experience is required.**
  • OSHA 30-hour certification, STS-C Certification, and training in First Aid, CPR, AED, and Stop the Bleed.
  • Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard construction software.
  • Experience in construction documentation, scheduling, cost control, and adherence to safety processes.
  • Ability to manage a project team effectively and enforce a “safety first” culture.

  • Compensation: The pay ranges from $139,100–$210,000 plus benefits and a retirement program, determined based on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
