Refrigeration Technician

Position Overview

Our HVAC/R Service Technicians provide on-site equipment repairs for commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. We are seeking a customer service oriented individual to perform maintenance, repair, and installation by diagnosing issues and replacing necessary parts.

Compensation: Up to $45.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Order and install replacement parts as required.
• Repair, replace, or calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring.
• Repair, replace, or calibrate components on natural gas and LP heating systems.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install electrical wiring, controls, and piping as required.
• Wire and connect motors, pumps, compressors, temperature controls, heating elements, and humidity controls.
• Provide proper refrigerant handling procedures according to federal EPA code.
• Be available for one weekend a month for Clark Service Group's on-call schedule.
• Promote a positive work environment and company culture.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work in extreme conditions (e.g., hot, cold, dirty environments), bend, reach, kneel, stand for long periods, and lift 50 pounds.
• Refrigeration experience: 2 years (Required).
• Subject to annual background checks, clearances, certifications, and periodic drug tests.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFESA Certificated Technician.
• Associate's degree or certification in HVAC.
• CFESA Certification.
