Position Overview

The Vice President of Implementation is a strategic and results‐driven leader responsible for overseeing all client onboarding, implementation, and technical services. Reporting directly to the Chief Customer Officer, this role drives client success through designing and scaling enterprise onboarding programs, accelerating time-to-value, and championing digital transformation using AI and automation. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and scale the implementation, project management, and technical services teams while aligning with company vision and client experience goals.
  • Build and execute a modern enterprise onboarding strategy that reduces time-to-value and elevates client satisfaction.
  • Establish clear KPIs (e.g., client satisfaction, time-to-value, adoption rates) and consistently exceed targets.
  • Champion digital transformation by leveraging AI, automation, and workflow tools to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Partner with Sales, Client Success, and other teams to ensure seamless client transitions from contract to go-live.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for key enterprise clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring strategic outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize implementation processes and standardize best practices.
  • Provide regular executive-level reporting on key operational and client outcomes.
  • Develop and retain top talent, building a strong leadership bench and scalable team structures for long-term growth.
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Advocate as the voice of the customer, providing strategic insights to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Own and manage departmental budgets with efficient resource allocation balancing client outcomes and business objectives.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proven operational leadership with the ability to drive process improvement in a customer-centric environment.
  • 10+ years of professional services experience.
  • Experience in a Customer Success, Professional Services, or Sales leadership role.
  • Experience leading teams of individual contributors and managers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, judgment, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Empathy, humility, and active listening skills.
  • Data-driven decision maker with a willingness to experiment and iterate.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation initiatives, ideally involving AI and automation.
  • Strong understanding of broader business initiatives and strategy, with the ability to integrate this understanding into client outcomes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15% of the year, including occasional weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field, preferably business or healthcare administration.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.
  • Proven ability to influence peers and customers in challenging situations.
  • Experience in Healthcare IT.
