Position Overview
The Inventory Leader is responsible for overseeing all inventory control activities to ensure accurate stock levels, smooth material flow, and proper record-keeping within the warehouse. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the inventory control team to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly inventory tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with warehouse, inbound, and outbound teams.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and quality control to ensure product availability and quality.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to support operational decision-making.
- Train and develop inventory staff to improve productivity and accuracy.
- Support warehouse layout optimization for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and storage of products.
- Lead periodic full inventory counts and reconcile results in the warehouse management system (WMS).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of warehouse or inventory control experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a diverse team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and compliance requirements.
