Position Overview
HSHS Medical Group, in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System, is recruiting a BC/BE Primary Care Physician for our clinic in Breese, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong interest in Rural Medicine to join a well-established, growing practice that emphasizes high-quality outpatient care. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services in a 100% outpatient setting.
- Utilize and work with EPIC EMR in daily operations.
- Operate within a practice offering a flexible Monday–Friday schedule with an option for a 4- or 5-day work week.
- Contribute to a team with minimal on-call responsibilities through group shared call.
- Collaborate with a strong support staff in a well-established, growing practice.
Required Qualifications
- Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Clinical doctorate is required.
- Licensed physician in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, as applicable.
- Successful completion or in progress of an accredited residency program.
- Demonstrated competence in delivering healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of prior practicing experience is preferred.
