Position Overview

HSHS Medical Group, in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System, is recruiting a BC/BE Primary Care Physician for our clinic in Breese, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong interest in Rural Medicine to join a well-established, growing practice that emphasizes high-quality outpatient care. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services in a 100% outpatient setting.
  • Utilize and work with EPIC EMR in daily operations.
  • Operate within a practice offering a flexible Monday–Friday schedule with an option for a 4- or 5-day work week.
  • Contribute to a team with minimal on-call responsibilities through group shared call.
  • Collaborate with a strong support staff in a well-established, growing practice.

Required Qualifications

  • Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible.
  • Clinical doctorate is required.
  • Licensed physician in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, as applicable.
  • Successful completion or in progress of an accredited residency program.
  • Demonstrated competence in delivering healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of prior practicing experience is preferred.
