Position Overview

As a Senior SEO Strategist, you will lead the implementation of our SEO and CRO strategies—including content, link building, and keyword initiatives—to drive increased search rankings, traffic, and digital business growth. You will analyze industry trends, explore emerging tools and methods, and mentor our team to ensure marketing efforts yield significant results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute CRO/SEO programs—including opportunity analysis, campaign planning, audits, and ongoing management—in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Continuously update tactical CRO/SEO recommendations for new product launches, website updates, and category expansions.
  • Research and recommend off-site link opportunities to build visibility, relevance, popularity, traffic, and engagement.
  • Monitor traffic, rankings, and other key performance indicators for both the Company and competitor sites, suggesting changes and opportunities as needed.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for content development that align with broader marketing goals and keyword objectives.
  • Continuously conduct keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization initiatives.
  • Oversee search engine programs—including ML sitemaps, shopping feeds, and webmaster tools—to ensure efficient monitoring.
  • Recommend and manage link building campaigns.
  • Identify growth opportunities within integrated marketing efforts and collaborate on cross-channel initiatives.
  • Develop and propose new ideas and projects with estimated sales impacts in line with Company standards.
  • Conduct keyword research and on-site optimizations such as meta tags, alt tags, content recommendations, robots directives, canonical tags, ML sitemaps, and 301 redirects.
  • Mentor, coach, and train the CRO/SEO team.
  • Stay current with industry technologies, trends, and strategies while recommending and implementing new technologies.
  • Assist employees, vendors, and customers with inquiries related to CRO and SEO.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by completing work accurately and on time.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of CRO/SEO experience using industry-standard tools and techniques; corporate retail experience is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in developing and managing CRO/SEO initiatives that deliver measurable results.
  • Extensive knowledge of CRO/SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking strategies.
  • Advanced technical understanding of web strategies designed to maximize organic visits, rankings, and overall hits.
  • Experience with popular keyword tools, including Google, WordTracker, SEMRush, and Keyword Discovery.
  • Strong background in sales and marketing techniques, accompanied by robust data analytics and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated understanding of website design, HTML/CSS, and WordPress; SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and serve as a trusted expert within the team.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and motivate team members while maintaining a high standard of confidentiality and respect.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude and adaptability to changing priorities.
