Email Marketing Project Manager

Position Overview

Instant Email Copy is on a mission to accelerate eCommerce and small business growth, empowering eCommerce business owners through email marketing. In this role as a Project Manager/Email Marketing Strategist, you will serve as the primary client contact, managing creative projects and leading a dynamic team in a high-paced environment in Portland, Oregon.

You’ll collaborate with expert copywriters and strategists to design and execute email marketing campaigns that drive measurable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the project leader and primary client contact in managing all phases of creative and interactive projects.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and provide actionable insights and strategy.
• Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day project operations and administrative activities.
• Participate in the planning, design, and development of marketing requirements and strategy.
• Plan, organize, and schedule activities to meet project objectives.
• Lead and manage the team assigned to each project.
• Develop and implement operating policies, procedures, and systems to support project operations.

Required Qualifications

• Project Management/Agency experience: 2 years
• Minimum work experience: 4 years
• At least 1 year of experience using Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or another related email software
• At least 1 year of experience using Slack, Asana, Basecamp, or other project management tools
• Experience with copywriting, design, and marketing strategy
• Bachelor's Degree or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• PMI Certification
