MRI Technologist / Radiologic Technologist - Part-Time - 2919

Position Overview

Shared Medical Services, a trusted and Employee Owned Company with 45 years of excellence and a team of 500 dedicated professionals, is looking for an MRI Technologist / Radiologic Technologist (Part-Time). You will have the unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner, meet new people across various facilities, and make a real difference in your community.

Anticipated Schedule:

• 1-3 days per week
• Occasional Saturdays

Key Responsibilities

• Competently perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with accepted standards, including administering contrast agents under the guidance and approval of the site Radiologist.
• Review and complete patient screening forms and clearly explain the procedure to the patient.
• Maintain excellent patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality while continuously enhancing technical competency through ongoing education.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registered
• Ability to produce quality special imaging with limited supervision while interacting in a responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen, and physical.
