Job Description

Position Overview

Expedia Group is seeking a Finance Manager for its Strategic Partnerships and Affiliates (SPA) Commercial Finance team. In this role, you will partner with key internal stakeholders—including Commercial, Strategy, and Operations teams—to provide expert financial and strategic guidance while supporting growth and profitability. You'll work closely with Commercial and Business Development Directors and have significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide key partner support as a strategic consultant to Commercial and Business Development Directors.
  • Assess new and existing partnerships and campaigns to optimize growth and profitability.
  • Facilitate weekly performance meetings by leveraging trends and insights to drive recommendations against financial targets.
  • Deliver commercial insights and analysis to support the R&O and monthly GBV forecast processes.
  • Utilize financial expertise to raise business awareness among sales and marketing teams.
  • Develop training materials and mentor Commercial teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Tech teams to enhance tools, automation, and underlying data.
  • Support Commercial Directors with quarterly target setting processes.
  • Act as the primary contact for Accounting on marketing spend accruals ensuring controls and streamlined processes.
  • Assist with strategic projects and perform ad-hoc analyses as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience within a finance function, preferably in commercial finance or FP&A.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (ACCA, CIMA) or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence decisions across various internal functions.
  • Strong modeling skills with the ability to analyze raw data and convert it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with experience presenting data in a visually compelling format to both finance and non‑finance audiences.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple workstreams across different time zones.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners to challenge the status quo and drive process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Hyperion is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of SQL is preferred.

  • Compensation: Total cash range of $110,500.00 to $155,000.00, with potential to increase up to $177,000.00 based on performance.
