Leidos Dynetics is seeking a talented and skilled QE Specialist to create unique solutions for complex problems. You will support mechanical manufacturing and assembly integration & testing for aerospace and defense, while playing a key role in ensuring quality through effective program planning and inspection procedures. Key Responsibilities

  • Support mechanical manufacturing and assembly integration & testing for aerospace and defense manufacturing.
  • Perform program quality planning, analyze quality assurance requirements, and develop inspection/test procedures and process plans.
  • Coordinate the review of nonconformance documentation and support root cause/corrective actions.
  • Review AS9102 First Article Inspection documentation and work with government quality agencies such as DCMA.
  • Lead special inspection processes and conduct supplier surveillance audits.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DoD, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing quality control.
  • Proven experience working with non-conforming material, performing failure analysis, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Skilled in writing work instructions, procedures, and implementing Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including AS9102 FAI documentation.
  • Strong collaborative communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering and advanced experience in GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009.
  • Experience in cross-functional teams and assembly integration/testing.
  • 10+ years’ experience with specialized measurement equipment (e.g., Romer Arm, Leica Laser Trackers) and PCMM software.
