Job Description
Position Overview
Amentum is seeking a Junior RF Engineer to perform Test, Evaluation, Integration, and configuration of DoD systems. In this role, you will work on E3 Computation and RF Modeling & Simulation, conduct analyses of EW, communication, and radar systems, develop detailed EMI/EMC test plans, participate in test planning meetings as well as test readiness reviews, and execute EMI/EMC testing including data gathering and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- E3 Computation and RF Modeling and Simulation
- Performing analyses of EW, communication, and radar systems
- Developing detailed EMI/EMC test plans
- Participating in EMI/EMC test planning meetings and test readiness reviews
- Conducting EMI/EMC testing; gathering, reducing, and analyzing data
- Preparing and publishing detailed EMI/EMC test reports and reviewing technical documentation
Required Qualifications
- BSEE degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: RF Engineering and analysis; EMI/EMC; RF Computation and simulation.
- Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required.
Compensation
The annual starting salary for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. Factors such as geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate may affect the starting pay.
