Position Overview
At ExcelMed Solutions in Florida, we are dedicated to revolutionizing the healthcare industry through excellence, innovation, and superior patient care. As our Medical Office Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, optimize workflows, and ensure a high standard of patient care. This full-time role offers stability, growth opportunities, and a Salary: $60,000-$80,000 per year, plus quarterly performance bonus. A Sign-On Bonus is also provided to the successful candidate.
Schedule: Monday through Friday with occasional flexibility to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the medical office including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow, reduce wait times, and enhance patient experience.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
- Coordinate and oversee billing, coding, and insurance claims processes.
- Implement and maintain electronic health record (EHR) systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development for office staff.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with department managers to streamline cross-functional workflows and improve overall efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of medical office operations, including billing, coding, EHR systems, and compliance regulations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare workflows.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in medical office management or healthcare administration.
