Position Overview

As part of our Technical SEO department, the (Sr.) SEO Analyst is responsible for evaluating client properties to ensure alignment with SEO best practices, performing keyword research and website audits, and communicating data-driven insights to internal stakeholders. Terakeet controls online reputation and visibility for global brands while being a remote-first organization with hiring hubs near major U.S. cities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate client properties to ensure compliance with SEO best practices.
- Provide competitive and market opportunity analyses focusing on search intent, competitor niche saturation, backlink profiles, and SERP anomalies.
- Perform extensive keyword research across multiple segments of client websites.
- Conduct comprehensive website audits and develop actionable recommendations.
- Prepare and present findings in a clear, data-driven format for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Adobe Analytics, and proprietary tools.
- Develop reports leveraging Excel, Google Sheets, and DataStudio.
- Execute ad hoc requests with comprehensive analysis and creative problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to understand search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate and deliver reports or recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven success in utilizing analytics platforms and data to provide strategic recommendations and drive actionable results.
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Proven ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships.
- Comfortable functioning in environments with high ambiguity and adapting to change.
- Keen attention to detail ensuring thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency in project execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred – Concentration in Marketing or a related field.
- Professional work experience in a related role is preferred.
Benefits & Perks
- Salary: $59,000 to $89,000 per year
- Location: Remote-first with hiring hubs within 60 miles of Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Austin, TX; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; Phoenix, AZ; Minneapolis, MN; and Syracuse, NY
