Position Overview

You may be eligible for asign on bonusup to$5,000. Join our team as a day shift, full time, OrthoIdaho Medical Assistant (MA) in Pocatello, ID. Get to know your team: Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, and home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general clerical and clinical assistance to all members of the Medical Practice team.
• Assist the medical provider in the delivery of patient care and patient teaching according to clinic policies and protocols.
• Work under the supervision of the physician and immediate supervisor within the scope of practice for Medical Assistants.

Required Qualifications

• Completed a Medical Assistant program from a licensed institution.
• Current MA licensure in the State of Idaho.
• BLS certification required.
• Commitment to the team and a patient-focused approach to problem solving.
