Position Overview

Join Roche as our Product Marketing Manager – Diagnostics. In this pivotal role, you will drive U.S. market growth for our general and molecular diagnostic reagents portfolio. You will collaborate cross-functionally to design and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, leveraging your technical expertise and commercial acumen to accelerate business growth while working in an inclusive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead U.S. market growth and product management, including forecasting, pricing, back-order management, and launch planning.
  • Build deep product expertise and partner with sales and logistics teams to ensure robust product support and supply availability.
  • Conduct market research to identify gaps, evaluate competitor offerings, and capture customer needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop detailed marketing plans that incorporate regulatory requirements and drive market penetration.
  • Design and execute marketing strategies, participate in trade shows, and represent the company at key customer meetings.
  • Track product sales, revenue performance, and campaign ROI to continuously optimize marketing and sales strategies.
  • Develop and implement a lead management system to generate, nurture, and transfer leads to the sales team.
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness alongside marketing managers and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Provide insights on business challenges, customer trends, and opportunities to senior management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of product management, marketing, or equivalent work experience in the healthcare industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Biology, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or a related field, coupled with an MBA or relevant business degree.
  • Prior B2B sales, marketing, or commercial experience within the diagnostics or pharma-biotech sectors.
  • Willingness to undertake U.S. travel (multiple days monthly) and occasional international travel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
