Entry Level Plumbing Designer - Multiple Sectors

Position Overview

You will work on projects for major clients in mission‐critical sectors such as higher education, healthcare, sports, and retail – contributing your engineering expertise to design systems, support business growth, and help shape spaces that become landmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and design basic engineering systems in collaboration with experienced design staff.
• Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Prepare or modify reports, plans, and designs for projects.
• Support business development and pursuit activities.
• Participate in client, company, and industry events to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Occasionally visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress.
• Continuously update your industry knowledge and expertise.
• Maintain proficiency with industry software including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or architectural) with one year of experience, or 3 years of experience without a degree.
• Basic proficiency in engineering design with sound knowledge of industry codes, guides, and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu software.
• Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
