Junior Interior Designer

Position Overview

Heritage is a residential design firm dedicated to creating timeless design for our custom luxury market. We are currently searching for an Interior Architect/Designer and a Junior Designer who are passionate about bringing creativity and functionality to custom residential projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This role involves designing stunning yet functional spaces – from ceiling treatments, fireplaces, cabinetry, and hard surfaces to creating quality elevations in ArchiCAD that streamline the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces including ceiling treatments, fireplaces, cabinetry, and hard surfaces.
• Create detailed and accurate elevations using ArchiCAD to assist the construction process.
• Coordinate with the construction team to ensure designs align with client budgets and project goals.
• Research new materials and fixtures while continuously enhancing design solutions.
• Support team collaboration and project excellence through proactive communication.

Required Qualifications

• Interior Architect/Designer Candidate: Dedicated to team and project excellence, highly organized with strong attention to detail, quality conscious, proactive, an excellent listener, knowledgeable in construction processes, respectful of client budgets, and comfortable in a friendly yet driven environment.
• Junior Designer Candidate: A supportive team player skilled at creating highly detailed elevations, quality conscious, eager to learn about residential design, excellent at following directions, and enthusiastic about researching new materials and fixtures.
