Jr-Mid Level Java/J2EE Developer

Position Overview

MSR Cosmos presents an opportunity for a Jr-Mid Level Java/J2EE Developer. This full-time/permanent position is open for candidates across the USA. Compensation: 70k to 100k along with standard benefits are offered. Candidates with OPT EAD (Prior experience), H1B transfers, H4 EAD with prior experience, or L2 EAD with prior experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize solid Java/J2EE programming skills to develop and maintain robust, multi-tier web applications.
• Apply experience with relational databases to design and implement data solutions.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Continuously update technical knowledge and be eager to learn emerging technologies such as Hadoop/Bigdata.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s (MS) or Bachelor’s (BS) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, IS, Technology Management, or related fields.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Proven expertise in developing multi-tier web applications and working with relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in advanced JavaScript using jQuery.
• Exposure to Hadoop/Bigdata environments.
• Strong business acumen along with technical expertise.
