Position Overview
Construction Jr. Project Engineer (Entry Level). Studio 151 is a premier management and design consulting firm specializing in high-profile, mission-critical projects. We work on some of the most complex and confidential projects worldwide, delivering cutting‐edge solutions with a focus on excellence. We are looking for a Construction Jr. Project Engineer to support our project teams. This is an entry‐level role that does not require an engineering degree but does require strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn and work on exciting, fast‐paced projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking project schedules and deliverables.
- Support weekly project meetings by preparing notes and tracking action items.
- Help resolve project‐related issues by escalating concerns to senior team members.
- Support communication between contractors, clients, and project teams.
- Maintain project documentation and update stakeholders on project status.
- Help ensure project requirements are aligned with client expectations.
- Assist in tracking project budgets and reviewing costs with senior staff.
- Help with document control, ensuring all project files are up to date.
- Work with the project team to monitor progress and flag potential delays.
- Visit project sites as needed to assist with coordination.
- Support construction activities by ensuring tasks are completed as planned.
- Learn and apply basic quality and safety procedures on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in construction, project coordination, or a related field is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in construction management, engineering, or a related field).
- Smart, self-starter with a strong willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with project management tools is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
