Position Overview

Compensation: To $115K
We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant - Consolidations & Financial Reporting Accountant to play a vital role in both the financial consolidation and external reporting processes. In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely preparation of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and support the monthly and quarterly close process while maintaining compliance with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative, with strong technical expertise in consolidations and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review journal entries and perform key consolidation steps for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate consolidation of financial results across multiple entities, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translations.
  • Assist in maintaining internal controls and best practices for the consolidation process.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Earnings Releases) and related disclosures.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SEC, and SOX regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of footnotes and disclosures for external reporting.
  • Support the documentation of financial statement disclosures, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Partner with internal teams to prepare workpapers supporting financial statements and SEC filings.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years in accounting and financial reporting, including consolidation processes and preparing public filings (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Earnings).
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
