Job Description

Position Overview

Zurich is a leading multi‐line insurer serving customers from individuals to multinational corporations.
We are seeking confident, outgoing, and self‐motivated Customer Care Professionals for our dedicated Claims Call Center team starting February 2026.
You will receive an in depth, 6‑week training that covers everything you need. All candidates hired must live within the Schaumburg, IL metropolitan area – training will take place in-person at our Schaumburg, IL office. After training, the role will be remote within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process clients’ first notice of loss claim reports received through Zurich’s phone and non‐phone reporting options in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Resolve complex claims inquiries and problems, involving others when necessary to provide effective service and clear advice.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to exchange information, clarify facts, and efficiently resolve queries.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the quality of customer care.
  • Follow procedures to ensure adherence to the company’s risk and compliance policies.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • +6 months Customer Service experience
  • Data entry experience
  • Designated workspace free from noise and distractions
  • Stable, high-speed internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps up and 10 Mbps down)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months call center experience
  • Proficiency in Windows-based operating systems and Microsoft Office with strong attention to detail
  • Insurance knowledge preferred
