Job Description

Position Overview

Join Monument Health as a Registered Nurse in Rapid City, SD USA within the MHMC-RC Flormann St. Endocrinology department. Work 40 hours per week with competitive Compensation starting at $28.80 - $36.00 (determined by the applicant's knowledge, skills, and experience). UP TO A $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES. Key Responsibilities

  • Collate comprehensive patient information to assess health and situation.
  • Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
  • Develop personalized care plans outlining projected outcomes.
  • Design and implement effective interventions and strategies to achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate care delivery and streamline the provision of medical services.
  • Engage in patient health teaching and promotion to establish a secure care environment.
  • Collaborate with advanced practice and nursing specialists to further develop care plans and influence positive change.
  • Evaluate the success of care plans against established objectives.
  • Adhere to the ANA Standards of Professional Performance, continuously improving nursing practice and maintaining ethical standards.
  • Utilize technology for documenting procedures, communicating with team members, and engaging in professional development.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – American Heart Association (AHA); certification to be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer (may be required sooner based on department requirements).
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license through the South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing (for Wyoming facilities).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Registered Nurse experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
