Position Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide specialized care to critically ill patients in Bakersfield, California. This 13‐week travel assignment offers Compensation: $1994.0 weekly along with exceptional support including 24/7 recruiter assistance, personalized career guidance, and housing and licensing aid. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor vital signs, ventilators, and life-support equipment
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed
- Assess patient responses and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on critical care plans and post-ICU recovery
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure protocol compliance
- Follow strict infection control and safety procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in applicable state(s)
- 1–2 years of ICU experience preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
- Strong knowledge of ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care protocols
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
