Job Description

Position Overview

Concierge Care Physicians is a member-based, Internal Medicine practice of three providers and seven support staff. We are a fast-paced and professional practice. Our doctors are wonderful to their patients and their staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient service and care in a medical setting
  • Perform medical administrative support tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, accurately maintaining patient records, and processing medication prior authorizations
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, EKG, spirometry, body composition analysis, and ABI
  • Perform urine dips and ear lavages
  • Code medical procedures and diagnoses accurately

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medications
  • Excellent patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally in both written and oral contexts
  • Proficient in taking vital signs accurately
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, medications, and medication prior authorizations
  • Proven interpersonal skills as a team player with creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative
  • Capability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a medical office or clinic
  • Experience with AthenaOne electronic health records (EHR) system
