Network Support Technician

Position Overview

VasoTechnology is a solutions company dedicated to delivering reliable and secure network connectivity for enterprises and healthcare customers. In the role of NC2 Technician – an entry-level Network Operations support position – you will work in a strong team environment, utilize various NOC resources to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and document procedures accurately. This position offers a clear growth path into roles such as NC2 Tier 2, Sr. Technician, or NetWolves System Engineering Associate, as well as opportunities in project management, corporate IT, sales engineering, analytics, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and track all network trouble tickets and change requests received from customers and vendors.
• Document data from various systems and personnel into the NetWolves Trouble Ticket System.
• Follow detailed procedures to perform troubleshooting steps using diverse networking tools (e.g., Solarwinds, SRM2, Portals).
• Represent yourself and the company **professionally** in both verbal and written communications.
• Utilize networking concepts to analyze alerts and determine root causes.

Required Qualifications

• Basic understanding of network technology concepts.
• Familiarity with the OSI Model layers 1-4.
• Basic understanding of routing and switching.
• Knowledge of IP addressing (IPv4 & IPv6).
• Experience using monitoring applications is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• A+, Net+, or CCENT level skills.
• Background in troubleshooting Broadband Cable, DSL, or traditional telecommunications.
• Experience with enterprise network configuration or support.
• Military experience is a plus.
