About the position

VP/Associate - Global Sustainable Finance Group - Asset Finance The team is seeking to hire a Vice President / Associate in the GSFG: Asset Finance team who will be supporting deal execution across multiple transactions and maintaining day-to-day dialogue with BofA clients looking for Asset Finance financing solutions. Role: Support deal execution across multiple work streams to ensure seamless client experience Lead model preparation, financial analysis, client pitch book preparation, and credit / risk analysis Lead the development of key materials for senior management discussions Assist transaction lead and portfolio management team with ensuring that performance of previous capital investments are performing Support day-to-day dialogue with clients and support the development of new client relationships to establish new business opportunities Key skills include: general financial acumen, financial modelling, attention to detail, ability to effectively communicate with external clients and internal partners, and ability to articulate independent risk views Liaise with senior team members regarding team tactics and strategic focus – including, client, product and sector expansion ideas. This position is based in NY but covering the Latin America and Caribbean region – travel will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Support deal execution across multiple work streams to ensure seamless client experience
  • Lead model preparation, financial analysis, client pitch book preparation, and credit / risk analysis
  • Lead the development of key materials for senior management discussions
  • Assist transaction lead and portfolio management team with ensuring that performance of previous capital investments are performing
  • Support day-to-day dialogue with clients and support the development of new client relationships to establish new business opportunities
  • Liaise with senior team members regarding team tactics and strategic focus – including, client, product and sector expansion ideas

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years prior experience in structured finance, capital raising or investment banking
  • Extensive experience in financial modeling across the capital structure
  • Understanding of corporate finance, tax, accounting and regulatory rules
  • Understanding of local regulation and market idiosyncrasies in Latin America and the Caribbean
  • Experience looking at project finance – specifically with renewable / clean energy projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong credit analysis and assessment capabilities
  • Consistent attention to detail
  • Candidate must have prior experience working in a collaborative team environment
