Retail Marketing Specialist (Contract – 3 Months)
Reports to:
Head of Brand & Retail StrategyLocation: Greater Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid 2 x week in Irvine + Retail Locations)

Salary: $75,500
Compensation: Determined on a case-by-case basis based on relevant knowledge, experience, skills, education, certifications, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution: Plan and execute retail marketing programs that align with our commercial planning calendar and marketing campaigns.
- Budget Management: Allocate and manage the Retail Marketing budget to ensure the highest ROI for marketing campaigns through finance engagement and collaboration with top partners.
- Data Analysis: Analyze consumer behavior and local market data to inform and refine Retail Marketing activities. Provide pre/post campaign analysis along with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Creative Adaptation: Collaborate with the Brand Creative team to develop campaigns and translate them into store, digital, and media assets including in-store planograms, social content, targeted media, and assets for owned platforms (app, website).
- Events & Promos: Oversee promotional programs, activations, and events to boost brand awareness and customer engagement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Retail Marketing, preferably with a background in QSR, food & beverage, or retail lifestyle.
- Proven success working directly with a marketing department, creative agency, or in a similarly fast-paced creative environment.
- Launch Experience: Demonstrated success supporting new store openings or market entry campaigns.
- Collaborator: Outstanding cross-functional skills with proven experience in interfacing with operations, R&D, and brand teams.
- Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
