Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic and tactical sales plans to drive aggressive incremental growth of the Analytical Reagents, BioReagents, and Discovery Chemicals businesses in the assigned territory.
  • Schedule and conduct formal sales activities, including capabilities-based presentations, focus groups, technical seminars, and new product launches.
  • Represent and promote the Laboratory Chemicals’ value proposition at all levels within accounts and across the industry.
  • Provide market intelligence and detailed sales position updates as requested.
  • Direct daily sales activities to ensure strong customer focus, prompt responses, and effective follow-up.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Thermo Fisher Scientific to promote overall Chemicals business growth.
  • Coordinate with channel and distribution sales teams to implement joint calls for sales and product training.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (with an emphasis in Life Sciences recommended).
  • 2-3 Years of Sales Experience.
  • Exceptional analytical capability and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere and influence others to achieve results.
  • Self-motivated with a bias for action.
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication abilities.
  • Capable of effective negotiation and closing of business.
  • Professional presentation, outstanding follow-up, and strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel to accomplish assigned goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 Years Sales Experience in the Life Sciences or Healthcare field.
  • New Business/Hunter type sales background.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: The salary range for this California-based position is $76,700.00–$115,025.00. This position may also be eligible for a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance.
