As a Inventory Unloader, you will play a critical role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations by supporting unloading processes efficiently.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Inventory Unloader is key to ensuring the efficient unloading of products from incoming trucks and containers. Your role ensures that all products are accurately processed, organized, and prepared for further handling, thereby supporting the overall effectiveness of the warehouse.

  • Unload incoming shipments securely, using manual or mechanical methods.
  • Inspect the quality of products upon arrival, identifying any damages or discrepancies.
  • Organize and store goods according to company procedures to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Label and tag products for efficient sorting and tracking.
  • Collaborate with team members to verify inventory and promptly report any discrepancies.
  • Keep the unloading area clean and well-organized to maintain safety and operational standards.
  • Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed, including loading and unloading products.
  • Follow safety guidelines to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries in the warehouse.
  • Work with the team to achieve daily productivity goals and meet quality standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving roles.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that involve standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with others.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating a forklift or other warehouse machinery.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology.
  • OSHA safety certification or relevant safety training is a plus.
