Position Overview

Position Purpose: The Director of Digital and Database Marketing Strategy is an innovative and customer-centric leader responsible for developing and overseeing multichannel initiatives that help our brand connect with key stakeholders across different journeys and touchpoints. This leader has a player-coach mindset and can inspire, manage, and mentor a high-performing team in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of new initiatives to support long-term digital strategies (including social media, web, video) and database marketing (text, email).
- Oversee a team of five digital, social, and database marketing professionals.
- Develop and lead digital communications and social media strategy, including audience development, content creation, and distribution across multiple platforms.
- Manage and optimize digital and social platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Develop and manage a robust strategy for paid and organic content that is audience-centric and aligns with business goals.
- Oversee creation and maintenance of websites, including content, accessibility, design, and performance.
- Collaborate with IT to improve the site's UX/UI in alignment with company branding and goals.
- Conduct regular audits to identify opportunities for optimization in content, navigation, SEO, and user flow.
- Develop and oversee enterprise video strategy.
- Lead the strategy, content, and implementation of email and text campaigns.
- Manage and optimize databases for personalized communication through segmentation, targeting, and automation to increase engagement and drive conversions.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage high-level relationships with digital experts, platform representatives, and/or influencers.
- Oversee the preparation of competitive intelligence reports, analysis reports, and reputation dashboards.
- Stay current with trends, social platforms, and key industry developments.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Communications, Marketing, or related fields and 5+ years of leadership experience/managing teams.
- Expertise in digital/social media, analytics, and digital marketing.
- Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Technical SEO, UI/UX Design, SEM/GA360, Adobe Analytics, and Salesforce CRM/Marketing Cloud.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: $116,100.00 - $214,700.00 per year
- Benefits: Competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and flexible work schedules (remote, hybrid, field, or office).
- Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors. Total compensation may also include additional incentives.
