Netflix House—our first-ever permanent, year-round destination—allows fans to explore, taste, play, and shop their favorite Netflix stories in real life. We are seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to define and drive the digital strategy for Netflix House’s online presence across the website, third-party platforms, and the broader Netflix ecosystem. This role requires a strategic thinker with cross-functional expertise to partner with multiple teams and drive fan engagement and revenue.
Compensation: The range for this role is $115,000 - $215,000. Our compensation structure is solely annual salary based with flexible allocation between salary and stock options based on market indicators, job family, background, skills, and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the manager to define the overall marketing strategy for the Netflix House website, ensuring alignment with business goals and an exceptional fan experience.
- Act as the primary marketing point of contact for Product & Tech regarding the website roadmap, feature prioritization, and product requirements.
- Continuously optimize the website to reflect revenue and stakeholder priorities—including new and existing Netflix House locations—and source engaging content such as user-generated submissions, press quotes, and reviews.
- Develop and manage a learning agenda for web testing, including A/B and multivariate tests in partnership with Product.
- Drive landing page strategy and performance optimizations for paid campaigns and lifecycle initiatives.
- Serve as the main liaison for Data Science and BizOps to build web reporting frameworks, analyze funnel performance, and create executive-level materials for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Consumer Insights and Brand Strategy to identify and implement impactful messaging for the value proposition.
- Manage Netflix House business profiles across third-party platforms, working with Local Marketing teams on content updates and new profile creation.
- Steer strategies to increase Netflix House’s exposure within the Netflix ecosystem by working closely with streaming, Tudum, and Shop teams.
- Partner with the Lifecycle/CRM team to ensure cohesion between web experience and email/fan lifecycle strategies geared toward acquisition, engagement, and conversion goals.
- Oversee the Web Execution Lead responsible for asset development, CMS content uploads, and issue triaging with Product.
- Collaborate on strategic ad hoc projects across digital platforms with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing with special emphasis on web strategy for a sales-based B2C business; experience in live experiences and entertainment is preferred.
- Proven track record in optimizing websites for conversion/sales, leading A/B testing initiatives, building learning agendas, and establishing measurement and reporting frameworks for web funnels.
- Experience in building web strategy from the ground up and scaling digital initiatives.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, excellent communication, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to take on various responsibilities beyond formal role definitions.
- Familiarity with growth marketing areas such as Lifecycle/CRM and Performance Marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels—from executives to day-to-day technical teams.
