Job Purpose and Impact
The Regional Sales Manager – Southeast US- Utilities - Dielectric Fluids (Open to Remote) will increase sales from new and existing market segments for our dielectric fluid offering. You will develop processes to identify prospects, build lasting relationships, and generate repeat business. Assess customer needs and propose appropriate products, services, and solutions while engaging in marketing, sales, and engineering support.
Candidates must reside in the US Southeast region (preferably Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee) and live close to a major airport. This role requires up to 50% travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new sales by translating customer needs into business strategy to capture commercial opportunities.
- Create demand for products and services by raising their profile with customers.
- Promote product market recognition using technical knowledge and market intelligence.
- Monitor customer, competitor activity, and industry trends.
- Participate in strategy meetings with customers' senior management to understand and meet their needs.
- Execute sales plans to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with targeted customers.
- Handle complex issues independently, escalating only the most complex challenges when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four years of related work experience in sales or business development.
- Experience within the energy industry (electrical segment) and working with utilities in the USA.
- Able and willing to travel up to 50% with a valid driver’s license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience or knowledge of transformers.
- Five to ten years’ combined experience in sales, marketing, and business development.
- Experience with CMS or Salesforce.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Expected salary range is $130,000 to $150,000, varying by location, certifications, education, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and personal performance.
