Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Key a variety of materials to produce correspondence, forms, contracts, and other documents.
  • Enter data into a personal computer to update and retrieve stored materials.
  • Act as a receptionist to provide information and answer questions from employees and the public.
  • Proofread, edit, and reproduce documents using copy equipment.
  • Maintain inventories and requisition office supplies.
  • Enter payroll information into a PC and process invoices for payment.
  • Accept payment of fees and assist with the preparation of the monthly Payroll Journal Voucher.
  • Maintain and process cash records and distribute meeting notes and minutes.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from high school or GED.
  • 1-3 years of office clerical experience, including typing or data entry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supplemental courses or training in computer software applications, business practices, and office procedures.
