Position Overview

The Sales and Marketing Manager (Retail Showroom) role at Campbell Mattress Direct in Saint Peters, MO offers an exciting opportunity to represent a trusted, Missouri‐made brand since 1933. At a featured showroom known for its Guaranteed Lowest Price promise, you will help customers discover the ideal sleep solution while working in a friendly, supportive, and dynamic environment. This role is full‑time with rotating weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Compensation: $48,000–$78,000 annually plus bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, discover their needs, and recommend the right sleep solution.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge across Campbell and partner brand assortments.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including presentations, financing applications, closing, and follow‑up.
  • Drive results against targets such as close rate, average order value, and accessory attachments.
  • Maintain a high‑standard showroom with optimal merchandising, cleanliness, and display accuracy.
  • Utilize POS/CRM systems and basic Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) to track pipeline and follow‑up.
  • Support local promotions, community events, and new product launches.

Required Qualifications

  • Outstanding communication skills and a strong customer‑first mindset.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals (retail experience preferred).
  • Coachable, competitive, and accountable—comfortable working weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Tech‑savvy with experience in tablets, POS systems, email, and basic spreadsheets.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
