Job Overview
• Avanade is seeking an experienced RPA Automation Architect / Senior Automation Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade automation solutions. This role focuses on Microsoft RPA technologies, Automation Anywhere, and Infrastructure Automation, driving scalable, secure, and efficient automation across business and IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Microsoft Automation Framework
- Lead infrastructure automation initiatives for deployment, configuration, and system management
- Build and deploy RPA solutions using Microsoft Robotic Process Automation and Automation Anywhere
- Partner with business and technical teams to identify automation opportunities and define requirements
- Develop and maintain automation documentation, workflows, and best practices
- Ensure automation solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues
- Stay current on automation technology trends and recommend enhancements
- Mentor junior automation engineers and provide technical guidance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Strong experience as an Automation Engineer / Automation Architect
Hands-on Expertise With
- Microsoft Automation Framework
- Microsoft Robotic Process Automation (Advanced / P3 level)
- Automation Anywhere
- Infrastructure Automation
- Deep understanding of the RPA lifecycle (assessment, design, development, testing, deployment)
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
- Experience with cloud automation (Azure and/or AWS)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple automation initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Automation Anywhere or Microsoft RPA certifications
- SAP Business Suite Testing
- SAP Intelligent RPA
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps exposure
