Position Overview
Camp Fire First Texas is seeking a Marketing Content & Design Specialist to bring the Camp Fire First Texas brand to life through thoughtful design, compelling content and community-focused outreach. Working in a hybrid environment with in‐person requirements on select Camp Fire events and programs, you will develop print and digital assets, manage organic social media content, support email marketing and ensure brand consistency. Based at the Camp Fire Resource Center in Fort Worth, TX, you will collaborate closely with the Vice President Marketing & Communications and other team members, while contributing to integrated marketing campaigns that elevate our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Design branded marketing materials for print and digital use (flyers, social graphics, signage, email templates) that support key program initiatives.
- Write and schedule organic social media posts that reflect program goals, community stories and key messages.
- Organize, prepare and staff community outreach events and promotional activities, including the development of branded materials and signage.
- Capture photos and videos at programs and events to support storytelling and campaign development.
- Update website content in collaboration with the digital team, ensuring an optimal user experience and visual consistency.
- Support email marketing through layout design, content coordination and scheduling on relevant platforms.
- Participate in campaign planning meetings and collaborate on integrated outreach strategies.
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries, including brand assets, Canva templates and collateral.
- Ensure all materials adhere to Camp Fire’s brand standards, accessibility best practices and inclusive representation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree with 2+ years of relevant experience OR bachelor's degree with 1+ year of experience in graphic design, marketing, communications or a related field (equivalent professional experience will be considered).
- Strong visual design skills with demonstrated experience in both print and digital production.
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Working knowledge of brand standards, visual accessibility and print production processes.
- Experience writing and designing content for organic social media and email marketing.
- Familiarity with email platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp or similar tools.
- Basic experience updating website content and working within CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills with a strong grasp of AP Style.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a growth mindset and willingness to learn.
- Experience with content planning tools, social scheduling platforms and basic campaign metrics reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer 1+ years of relevant experience in marketing or communications.
- Knowledge of current email best practices regarding design, layout, messaging and deliverability.
- Familiarity with marketing software such as HubSpot.
- Experience with Monday.com project management software.
- Customer orientation with the ability to adapt and respond to different personalities.
- Proficiency in HTML editing and photography.
- Experience with Google Analytics (certification a plus).
- Experience supporting promotional events.
- Bilingual Spanish writer/speaker is a plus.
