Position Overview

At AFC (Automotive Finance Corporation), we fuel the entrepreneurial dream in our community. For over 35 years, AFC has empowered more than 12,000 independent car dealerships across North America with innovative finance solutions that amplify purchasing power. As a Relationship Associate, you will be part of a small, local team responsible for providing financing solutions (floorplanning) for independent auto dealers. In this role, you will drive a positive customer experience, manage accounts, and identify organic growth opportunities. The ideal candidate resides in the Oklahoma City, OK market and is ready to travel within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of customer needs by using customer relationship management (CRM) tools and work queues.
  • Identify dealer needs to promote product solutions and campaigns.
  • Manage accounts and enhance dealer growth by engaging in focused performance-related discussions.
  • Manage, service, and mitigate risk on customer accounts.
  • Drive new growth opportunities within existing accounts.

Required Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in customer-facing, sales, or sales support roles.
  • A valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% within the assigned market.
  • Experience in a multi-faceted, dynamic environment with a strong focus on productivity and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in using technology, including mobile applications and relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  • High level of accountability towards local goals and business targets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous auto industry experience.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Tableau.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
