Position Overview
Our client, a leading global manufacturer of high-volume automotive precision components, is seeking an Entry-Level Manufacturing Design Engineer to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support to Manufacturing Operations, including Process Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production teams.
- Work on Design of automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
- Use Solidworks for 3D design and Autocad for 2D Cad Design.
- Participate in problem-solving related to production equipment.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present data-driven recommendations in regular meetings.
Required Qualifications
- BSME or BSMET
- 0-5 years of experience, including internships, in Manufacturing Engineering or Design Engineering - Entry level college graduates are encourage to apply.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD and/or 2D CAD - prefer Solidworks. Also proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and problem identification.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse team environment.
