Full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Needed at View Point Behavioral & Pain Solutions Center in Columbus, OH

We are a community health center dedicated to providing accessible and culturally competent mental health services to individuals and families in the area. Our mission is to promote mental wellness, improve overall health outcomes, and foster a strong sense of community, providing holistic mental health care that recognizes and values each patient's unique background and experiences. We focus on Mental Health Assessments, Medication Management, Trauma-Informed Care, Cultural Competence, and Behavioral Health Integration. We are currently seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in delivering expert psychiatric care to our diverse patient population. We specialize in offering integrated behavioral health care, addressing both physical and mental health needs to promote overall well-being.

Schedule:

Full-time schedule. Regular business hours from 9 am to 5 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations to diagnose patients' mental health conditions.
  • Provide medication management and monitor the effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and other team members to offer integrated care.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support during times of emotional distress.
  • Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives to promote mental health awareness.
  • Provide therapeutic support through counseling and psychoeducation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree: in Nursing with a specialization as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
  • State licensure: as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with psychiatric specialization.
  • Experience in a community health center or similar setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and staff.

Salary:

$200,000 to $250,000: per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
