Position Overview

The HR Administrator is a highly reliable, detail-oriented role responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of HR operations. This position is critical to ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and a smooth workflow across HR systems, processes, and employee lifecycle events. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, can shift priorities quickly, and takes pride in completing work accurately and error-free.

Compensation: $21.00 - $26.00/hour

Location: In person

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry and maintenance in ADP Workforce Now and other HR systems.
  • Process employee changes including new hires, terminations, job changes, compensation updates, and personal data updates.
  • Support onboarding by entering employee information, coordinating system access, and ensuring all required documentation is complete.
  • Run and validate routine HR reports as requested.
  • Assist with Workers’ Compensation administration, including documentation and coordination.
  • Support leaves of absence, unemployment notices, and related administrative tasks.
  • Track employee milestones such as anniversaries and birthdays.
  • Coordinate welcome gifts, baby gifts, and other employee recognition items.
  • Assist with general employee inquiries by routing requests appropriately and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Process invoices and support basic vendor administration.
  • Scan, file, and maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical records.
  • Support audits, compliance activities, and document requests.
  • Take on any additional HR-related tasks as assigned to support the team and business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an HR administrative, HR coordinator, or similar support role.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume, high-accuracy data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of error-free work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with HR systems and technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through.
  • Professional, service-oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to handle a broad range of tasks as business needs evolve.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now or a similar HRIS/payroll system.
  • Exposure to onboarding, benefits administration, leaves, or Workers’ Compensation.
  • Experience working in a growing or changing organization.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
