Position Overview
The Director of Digital Marketing and Web is an experienced and creative leader, communicator, and technologist responsible for the development, maintenance, and integration of the University’s external website and mobile application platforms and services. Working closely with staff in the Division for Enrollment Management and Marketing Services and other University departments, this role provides collaborative leadership to support the college’s mission and institutional priorities. As a key influencer for social media strategy, this position leads digital marketing and client communications, manages vendor relations and third party applications, and partners with Information Services to continually refine the technical architecture and principles for the University’s web presence. It also involves influencing institutional web platform strategies, policies, usability, SEO/SEM, analytics, and overall architecture. The role reports to the Assistant Vice President for Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, maintenance, and integration of the University’s external website and mobile applications.
- Provide collaborative leadership alongside Enrollment Management and other University divisions.
- Drive digital marketing, social media strategy, and client communications.
- Manage vendor relations and oversee third party applications.
- Collaborate with Information Services to refine technical architecture, policies, usability, and analytics, including SEO/SEM.
