Job Description

Position Overview

Department: Inpatient Acute Rehab

Schedule:

Nights, 7:00pm-7:30am, 12-hour shifts

Facility:

Resurrection Medical Center

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living.
  • Provide basic nursing care to all patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a safe environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Illinois approved Certification required.
  • Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
  • Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
  • Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.
