Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the Call Center with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Provide administrative support to the Call Center team, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records and files.
  • Assist patients with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with other departments within Northwell Health to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Follow all protocols and procedures to ensure the confidentiality of patient information.
  • Identify and escalate urgent patient concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures within the Call Center.
  • Attend departmental meetings and training sessions to stay updated on policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with fellow Administrative Support Assistants to ensure coverage and support for the Call Center.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Adhere to Northwell Health's mission and values in all interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Comply with all regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Call Center Supervisor or Manager.
