Job Description
Position Overview
The MES Business Analyst role supports the implementation of manufacturing solutions by planning, developing, maintaining, and enhancing application package functionalities. The candidate will work on-site in Goodyear, AZ (3 days a week) and collaborate with customers, IT, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend effective solutions. Compensation: $53.86-$65.83/hour W2 (depending on skills and qualifications). Start ASAP for a 6-12 month contract with potential to extend.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, maintain, and enhance functional areas of application packages for manufacturing solutions.
- Collaborate with customers, IT, and cross-functional teams to identify user requirements and assess technology options.
- Support implementation and transition of manufacturing execution systems (MES) while ensuring robust process modeling.
- Communicate application package capabilities and coordinate with IT teams to facilitate ongoing support.
- Work across teams and functions to develop solution options that meet medium to high level business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent work experience and technical training.
- At least 3+ years of experience in a relevant functional area, including experience with application packages and at least one package implementation.
- Proven MES and supply chain operations experience (plan, source, and make).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express technical concepts in business terms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, with strong interpersonal abilities for cross-functional teamwork.
- Experience in agile environments and a strong technical aptitude for working with diverse application teams and complex systems.
- Familiarity with primary tools and technologies such as Rockwell FTPC, Quality Management, Performance Management, Vantage Point, Historian, various manufacturing applications, Microsoft OS, SQL Server, Unix, Linux, JBOSS, Java, PNUTS, Mulesoft, and scripting.
