Job Description
Position Overview
AutoZone Senior Supply Chain Analysts are responsible for forecasting and purchasing the correct inventory into the distribution centers. They plan seasonal replenishment for stores and distribution centers, coordinate with other departments on new planograms, promotions and events, lead supplier collaborations to ensure product availability, train team members on replenishment processes, and provide in-depth analyses and insights to drive change and improved efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and adjust the forecast to determine purchase quantities
- Place purchase orders to vendors
- Manage the replenishment parameters in the system
- Collaborate with vendors, distribution centers, and merchandising teams
- Lead projects to increase inventory turns and supply chain efficiency
- Maintain minimal inventory levels to achieve KPI targets
- Analyze data and provide insights to team members
- Train other team members on replenishment processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) with three to five years of experience in purchasing, demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain analysis
- OR, a high school diploma with eight years of applicable experience in purchasing, demand planning, inventory management, supply analysis, or equivalent
