Role Summary

This role is responsible for building, maintaining and scaling Audi of America’s existing and emerging social platforms as a key subject matter expert. The role is responsible for social strategy, measurement, planning, and execution. They are a key decision maker and driver across social media for the brand, working in close partnership with the content and global teams. They must be collaborative, with the ability to work with stakeholders across multiple functions to deliver exceptional strategy, ideation and results.

Role Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy / Leadership: 85%

  • Drive strategy to achieve key metrics across all social platforms
  • Deliver breakthrough creative ideas that amplify the Audi brand image
  • Develop and oversee social media content calendar in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Partner with lifestyle entertainment team to co-develop creator strategy
  • Provide leadership in social channel planning strategy, daily management as needed and expertise during crisis situations
  • Develop and maintain authentic brand tone across channels and guide channel management
  • Provide strategic recommendations on emerging social platforms and technologies
  • Bring innovation that will grow and engage fans as well as captivate/celebrate owners
  • Partner closely with the channel marketing team to maximize social invest and retail-driving goals
  • Provide creative guidance to social media team and agencies in partnership with the content team
  • Lead development for campaigns and Audi’s presence in social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and community sites), posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed.
  • Manage internal stakeholder relationships and coordinate integration of internal departmental objectives
  • Leverage trends in social media tools and platforms to deliver actionable insights
  • Ensure social media content is on brand, premium and relevant

Measurement / Brand Building : 15%

  • Provide input and insights for brand partnerships and programming as it relates to social integration
  • Participate in creative productions, shoots and activations
  • Create strong connections with global partners and key stakeholders
  • Responsible and accountable for social budget and forward planning
  • Responsible for efficient, regular social reporting and accelerating real-time analytics
  • Establish and improve social processes

Qualifications

Years of Experience:

  • 10+ years in Marketing, Communications or related expertise
  • Social media experience required
